Who is the Asian Chamber of Commerce and how to support ?

The Asian Chamber of Commerce has been supporting the business community in Houston for over 30 years. We’re a diverse, multicultural group focused on increasing business with the Asian community locally and abroad for all Asian countries, as well as improving the overall economic prosperity of Houston. We host and support numerous activities around the city to encourage our members to develop lasting relationships.

The Chamber was founded on June 20, 1990 with past board members who have gone on and served as Houston City Council Members, corporation executives and successful business entrepreneurs. The official purpose and mission of the Chamber is “To promote the common business interests of its members, in particular the promotion and facilitation of commercial trade between Houston-area businesses and Asian businesses.”

Who is attending?

Corporate supporters as well as influential business owners have been past attendees of our event. We expect some of the well known names around Houston to attend our 30th celebration in standing behind the Asian community

What is the attire? How do I dress?

Black Tie Optional. There will be many very important people to meet. Dress to impress!

  • Women – long dresses or cocktail dress
  • Men – suit or tuxedo

Why the Lone Star Flight Museum?

This year we wanted to support nonprofits as well as small business that have been economically impacted during the recent Pandemic. All expenses will go towards these organization where those contributing towards our event will even go further in helping those in need.

What are your COVID safety precautions?

As procedures for our event on October 23rd, we are monitoring the situation closely with local guidelines on group activities and will abide by government issues on wearing masks and social distancing. We will be working with the museum on hand sanitizer stations as well as any measure they have in place for the safety of our guests. We welcome participation and will accommodate any changes that arise to ensure the safety of your team.

  • - Wearing face mask is strongly encouraged and will be available for those who choose to wear one.
  • - Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the venue.
  • - Please practice social distancing as much as possible.

How do I get my company/organization to participate?


Present our sponsorship packet and encourage them to participate as a sponsor.  



The chamber is incorporated as a non-profit corporation and is qualified as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(6) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.  You can view our Guidestar profile with a bronze seal of transparency in operating as a nonprofit organization. 

Are there volunteer opportunities?

Yes! We are in need of dedicated volunteers who can work behind the scenes in making our event a success. Please inquire directly with our chamber via email -

Does the Chamber have a foundation? Is my contribution tax-deductible?

Yes! We do have a partner foundation in supporting our educational programs and awards scholarships. Contribution towards the Asian Chamber Foundation are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
